Maintenance by Us
There will be time when your site will have to be updated. The simplest and most cost effective way to do this is for you to upload this new information to your web site. However you may lack the necessary skills, do not have the time or just want someone else to take over the hassle. In that case we can complete your updates as necessary. We can also train your staff to complete them if required.
Most companies charge a monthly fee for this but we have found that many people do not take full advantage of the update time that they are paying for. Our standard update charge is an hourly rate split into 15 minute intervals for all updates that we do. This way you, the customer, only pay for the work that is done.
Why you need web site maintenance?
- Stale Web site Content or you have changed your company image, either with a new logo design, or slogan.
- Search engines give importance to web sites where content changes, if left for a few years without any updates your web site design will loose position in the ranking . Regular spidering will start to decrease.
- The search terms that People are using for certain items, are constantly changing. What worked for you last month may not work for you now.
- Seasonal changes, such as decorating your web site for Christmas will keep your customers enthused and interested in your web site.
Maintenance by You
All sites designed by Savvy Web Creations are constructed in such a way as to allow you, once you have the correct software, to update content yourself or by one of your Savvy trained staff members. Your site will have all of the important structural elements locked so no one can accidentally delete or change essential code.
Savvy Web Creations will supply, install, set up and train one of your staff members in the on going maintenance of your site or alternatively we will do it for you.
